A Hybrid Moving Truck… Excellent

I keep saying that we need to make steps towards improvement that are sustainable. It appears that Atlas has a similar opinion.
Here’s an excerpt from an article about the first hybrid moving van.
There it is right there - economics and environmentally friendly working together in order to create sustainability. Let’s hope that we see more of these trucks on the road in the near future (hauling environmentally friendly products).
In fact, consulting on these trucks might be a nice new profit center for Atlas – just be responsible about it and don’t overcharge. Remember, it is about the environment.

I keep saying that sustainability and economics go hand and hand. An organization that runs in a sustainable eco-friendly manner will in the long run be more efficient. It’s all about thinking differently.
Here’s an article about a think tank being created to help local the local area develop economically in a sustainable manner.
Meservey called CEDS a “think tank†for the North Shore’s businesses and municipalities and a “central repository for research and project data on the economic, environmental and social sustainability of the north-of-Boston region.
Its mission, according to Meservey, “is to bring Salem State’s considerable resources together to benefit the regional economy.â€
